Position: Backend Developer (mid-senior level)

Location: Hybrid (2 days/week in office) Bangkok

Job Type: Full-Time

Role Overview:

We’re seeking a dedicated and forward-thinking Backend Developer who can work at the intersection of server-side engineering, AI-driven functionalities, and blockchain integrations. You will architect and maintain the backbone of our platform, ensuring high performance, scalability, and secure data management. By seamlessly integrating advanced AI models (for image and video generation) and implementing robust search mechanisms, you will empower users with next-level engagement and utility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Server-Side Architecture: Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and secure back-end services, ensuring responsive interactions with front-end components.

• API & Data Flow: Build and optimize RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs for efficient data exchange, working closely with front-end teams to deliver seamless user experiences.

• Database Management: Implement and optimize databases (SQL, NoSQL, or distributed solutions) for swift data retrieval, intelligent caching, and effective data organization.

• AI Integration: Integrate and maintain AI-driven features such as image and video generation services as well as custom search engine capabilities, ensuring smooth back-end logic and performance tuning.

• Web3 Functionality: Incorporate blockchain elements, interact with smart contracts, and leverage decentralized storage systems as needed, aligning with the platform’s vision for transparent and trustless operations.

• Security & Compliance: Ensure best-in-class security practices, regulatory compliance, and encryption standards throughout data handling and authentication processes.

• Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers, AI engineers, and product teams to align technical requirements with business objectives and user needs.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven 3+ years as a Backend Developer in a production environment.

• Technical Proficiency: Expert command of Node.js, Python, or similar backend languages. Experience with AI integrations with third-party AI APIs is a significant plus.

• Database Skills: Proficient with SQL or NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.), including schema design and performance optimization.

• Web3 & Blockchain: Fundamental understanding of blockchain concepts, smart contracts, and related decentralized technologies. Prior experience with Web3 libraries (e.g., web3.js, ethers.js) is preferred.(optional)

• API Mastery: Strong grasp of RESTful API design, GraphQL, and best practices for secure data handling and rate limiting.

• Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or other cloud platforms. Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines is advantageous. (optional)

• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in an agile, fast-paced environment.

• Communication: Proficient in English and Thai

• Able to start working immediately

• Able to work effectively in fast-paced startup environments

It would be great if you have:

• Smart Contract Development: Design, write, and deploy secure smart contracts primarily in Solidity, ensuring they meet project requirements and industry best practices.

• Proficiency in Solidity, Ethereum, and related blockchain frameworks. Experience with tools like Hardhat
